John L. Brooklier

Vice President, Investor Relations

John L. Brooklier is Vice President, Investor Relations of ITW. Mr. Brooklier, 55, has spent a total of 15 years with ITW. He was named Vice President of Investor Relations in 1999. In this role, he is responsible for managing and communicating with buy side investors, sell side analysts and retail investors. Prior to becoming head of investor relations with the company, Mr. Brooklier served in a variety of corporate communication and corporate marketing roles at ITW. Earlier in his career, he held a series of corporate communication and corporate marketing positions with Baxter Healthcare and Heller Financial, Inc., now part of GE Financial Services.

Mr. Brooklier graduated from Harvard University in 1973 with a B.A. degree. In 1974, he earned a Masters of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Mr. Brooklier has been a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) since 1999. He also has served on Thomson Financial’s Regional Executive Advisory Board.
